Which one is considered an Abortion? a D&C or a D&E?

Sounds like you had a D & C. That is an abbreviation of a medical procedure known as Dilation and Curettage, which is the scraping of the lining of the uterus. It is frequently done after miscarriage. “Dilation and Evacuation (D&E)” on the other hand...Definition: An abortion method used between 13 and 18 weeks (sometimes up until 20) of pregnancy. The cervix is dilated and fetal and placental tissue is drawn out by suction. A curette is inserted into the uterus to remove any remaining fetal tissue. A general anesthetic is usual, and the procedure is performed in a hospital or surgical clinic.

This Site Might Help You. RE: Which one is considered an Abortion? a D&C or a D&E? I answered a D&C question earlier and this sparked my curiosity. I remember with my first pregnancy I had a Miscarriage at 12 weeks and my body was not getting rid of everything it should and it caused an infection. I remember the nurses who treated me like crap because they thought i was some...

I dont even know what D&C or D&E mean but I see people ask about them on here and stuff. Sorry about your miscarriage. The nurses should not treat you badly for that. 1) It wasn't you fault 2) It's a loss to you 3) It's terrible no matter what your age.

D&C stands for dilatation and curette- translated opening and scraping. These can either be for medical (mother has to) or elective (mother wants to) reasons. The procedure is exactly the same to my knowledge. Sounds like those nurses were in the wrong profession and downright rude to their patient. I haven't heard the term D&E before sorry!

I'm not sure about a d and e. I know for sure a D&C is for miscarriages and other feminine problems of the sort. I would just ignore the nurses, or report them to their boss. That's very rude of them...but it's non of their business one way or the other.

i had a misscarage wen i was 14 weeks and i had to get a d&c because everything didnt come out properly sorry to hear about ur misscarage

d&e is an abortion a D&C is a miscariage wich is an accident not puposely intended

If I may, I would like to share an experience with you, and get your thoughts on it?
That's a great story... but no one that is pro-choice here will see it as such. But... what you've done is plant a seed in their minds, if they read your entire story. The fact that the woman responsible for Roe v Wade is now also staunchly pro-life is because of someone like you in her life...

Is there an abortion pill for dogs?
there are mis-mate shots but they are not cheap, they dont always work, and they can have serious side effects. Some vets dont even offer them. If this dog cant be spayed for health reasons, then she certainly shouldnt be allowed to get pregnant. I suggest you find a vet that will spay her...

Where can i get a low cost or free abortion in lorain ohio.?
I'm not judging you but please don't get an abortion. Give the baby up for adoption to some lady who can't have kids and desperately wants one! Don't kill your baby unless your doctor says there is no way the baby could survive. But if you must, just go to planned parenthood. My cousin had...

Why are so many leftists outraged over Tim Tebow's mom's choice to keep the baby?
They're not and it is silly to allege such nonsense. People are upset about the anti-choice ad that may contain falsehoods. Abortions were illegal in the Philippines at the time that Tebow was born. They are still illegal.

Birth control a form of abortion?
Hi, Stephanie. I'm not Catholic, but I understand and agree with some of the concerns Catholics have regarding birth control. All hormonal methods of birth control (the Pill, Depo-Provera shots, emergency contraception, the "patch," etc.) can work in one of three ways: 1. By preventing ovulation...
