Whats abortion?

There are a few different kinds of abortions... First of all, an abortion is when a woman has a doctor kill the baby inside of her womb. If it's within the first 6 months of the pregnancy, the doctor will give the woman a pill to kill the unborn baby. After that there are a series of surguries. 1. The doctor inserts clamps into the womb and crushes the baby's head, then vacumes all the parts out. 2. The doctor injects a poison into the baby directly through a very long needle, then pulls the baby out. 3. The doctor induces labor and pulls the baby out feet first but leaves the head in so the baby is not all the way born yet. Then the doctor takes scissors and cuts the baby's spinal cord near the base of the skull, and takes the baby out. This is also known as partial-birth abortion.

There's two types, surgical and medical. Medical abortions are where the doc gives you a pill and it causes the lining of the uterus to thin, therefore causing a sort of miscarriage. You will have to go back to the doctor for another medicine. You will bleed for several weeks. This is only done in the first 9 weeks of pregnancy. Surgical abortion is where the doctor uses a suction machine to suck out the contents of the womb. You may be put to sleep or just given pills to help you relax. The doctor gives you a shot in the cervix to numb you. The cervix is opened and the contents are sucked out. It's probably the second worst pain next giving birth, if you aren't put under anesthesia, but it only lasts a few minutes and you will be able to hold the nurses hand. You bleed on and off for a couple of weeks, you can only use pads and no sex for a couple of weeks. Hope this helps, i've had a surgical abortion, and honestly even though it hurt like hell, it's not really worth paying the extra for anesthesia.. unless your insurance happens to cover the abortion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion There's most of the information. Abortions are a way to remove the fetus before birth. They can be done chemically with pills (morning-after pill, plan B). Also, doctors can also do something called a D&E (dilation and curettage). They basically go in and scrap the lining of the uterus out (done for other reasons too). Or they do it with suction. The surgical methods can be dangerous. If any peice of the fetus is left in, it can cause an infection. Read more about it on wikipedia. Or google it.

If pregnancy test is positive then one should go forward for the MTP Kit as it is used to terminate the unwanted pregnancy. MTP Kit is used to terminate the pregnancy of 63 days or 9 weeks. The MTP Kit is a combination of two medicines called Mifepristone and Misoprostol. It contains 5 tablets. And the good taking procedure is to have one tablet orally of Mifepristone 200mg and then after 48 hours or 3 days four tablet of Misoprostone 200mg inserted vaginally. And then follow up it for 10 days and go for doctor's consult.

Please be careful about asking this question here. This is a very HOT topic, and most people who answer have an agenda. Go to a local Planned Parenthood or community health clinic for objective advice.

dont let anyone say its a choice or its not a baby, because its a baby it shouldn't be a choice. here is the information on abortion though http://www.lifesite.net/abortiontypes/

The risk of dying during an abortion procedure is not a con of choosing abortion, it is a pro. The alternative to abortion is continuing the pregnancy and there is a far greater risk of death in late-term pregnancy and delivery. Legal abortion Before 9 weeks 1 in 500,000 9–12 weeks 1 in 67...

Does having a surgical abortion increase your risk of blocked fallopian tubes?
A surgical abortion wouldn’t cause blocked tubes, it may cause some scar tissue in your uterus. During a D&C they don’t go up to your tubes they use a suction to remove the tissue in your uterus only...so if you do have blocked tubes is would more than likely not be caused by the procedure...

Demorcratic Presidency mean less abortions?

Where can i get a low cost or free abortion in lorain ohio.?
I'm not judging you but please don't get an abortion. Give the baby up for adoption to some lady who can't have kids and desperately wants one! Don't kill your baby unless your doctor says there is no way the baby could survive. But if you must, just go to planned parenthood. My cousin had...
