Why didn't you post the rest of your additional details, you're just taking it out of context: "What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them strays, he leaves the ninety-nine in the hills and goes to look for the one that has strayed, doesn't he? If he finds it, I tell you with certainty that he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that haven't strayed. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. With child is a's not anything else- and the standard versions reinterpret it as pregnant, which is what it means. Just like the bible, you're taking it too literally. People who read the bible like Nostradamus need to try a little harder.

In the bible, the birth of Jesus is given a lot more play then his conception. In fact, the bible speaks of the joy of his birth, but his conception was simply Gabriel showing up to Mary and saying, "Uh, yeah, god wanted to knock you up, so uh, yeah" and then she tells Joseph. That's the end of the story.

apator123 said it quite well, and others have made great points as well. Yes, He does consider it murder. Many try to justify the murder of abortion in various ways, but as it is written: There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. -Proverbs 14:12

Yes. But an abortion does not put a woman out of the reach of His grace and mercy. God can forgive murder, even an abortion. There is hope for us all no matter how far from God we believe we have travelled. We only need to turn back to Him and start home. "Behold, I make all things new" Rev 21:5

Yes and that is why you shall not spill innocent blood, and unborn children are innocent so it is murder.

that was a way to say a woman was pregnant back in the middle ages. I doubt very much Jesus said that. It's like saying Adam knew Eve...the Knew meaning they slept together.

Yes. He puts a high value on life. His purpose was to allow people a chance at life. So to destroy one....that goes completely against His purpose.

Good point. It's always been common sense until some women started crying about giving birth.

I would expect men to be more supportive of abortion than women. Very few people (regardless of gender) want a child to grow up in a single parent home, or to be moved back and forth between both parents. Then add to that the men (SOME men) that don't want to have to be financially responsible...
