Do you think that abortion should be illegal to people who get pregnant without using contraception but consciously don't want the baby?

No. For over 90% of abortions, the foetus cannot think or feel anything. It's an unconscious blob....the vast majority occur before 12 weeks and the foetus doesn't have sufficient nervous system development to feel pain. So it is morally null. It's NOT kill a baby, nor a child, nor anything else the crazy pro lifers claim. Secondly, how are you supposed to know how women ended up pregnant? Such a law couldn't be enforced unless you put a camera in every bedroom in the nation. If you're relying on what people tell you, pass that law and they would just lie. And I think making every woman who wants an abortion take a polygraph is rather patronising and infantilising don't you? Not to mention infringing upon her rights as a woman. And expensive.

Nope. Having a baby should not be thought of as a punishment for women. The fact that so many people think that way is pretty telling.

Would you want to be born into a family where both your parents are that irresponsible? No child should have to pay for the sins of the parents that way.

slkusractNessa

No. A woman has still have the right over her body.

Partial abortion debate?!?
I'm doing a debate on abortion as well in my NUR360 course. Partial abortion is horrible, and illegal in most places. Bacially, my group is starting off with a poll- you can ask how many are anti-abortion or pro-choice and after the debate see how their opinions change with a conclusion poll...

Why is JFK sometimes considered conservative?
JFK wasn't a Conservative he was a true blue Democrat, but his Foreign policy carried a lot of backbone and Republicans most notably Nixon likely took notes. He worked vigorously against the Russian/Cuban alliance, and saw the dangers of Israel obtaining a Nuclear Weapon in the middle East...

How is abortion an example of market failure?
I have a feeling that your instructor has another agenda besides the "economics" of abortion. I'm not an economist or any kind of professional - but I fail to see what a controversial medical procedure has to do with economics. There are people out there who would have you believe that abortion...

Under what conditions could Dr. George Tiller perform a late term abortion?
I think it's disgusting how the right wingers are demonizing Dr. Tiller and lying about under what circumstances he performed abortions. I guess it isn't enough that all their hate and vitriol for anyone who is pro-choice contributed to his murder.

Surgical abortion experiences?
